Use the links below to download copies of NTP software packages
directly from our web server in Germany and the USA.
The source code is available at the
NTP download page at ntp.org.
For the Windows operating system there's an additional NTP Time Server Monitor program
available which allow configuration of the local NTP service and graphical monitoring
of the local and also remote NTP servers.

NTP for Windows NT / 2000 / XP / Server 2003 / Vista / Windows 7 / Server 2008

This NTP package contains a GUI installer for Windows which installs executable programs
which have been compiled from the original NTP sources available at the
NTP download page at ntp.org.
The GUI installer also contains the corresponding HTML based NTP documentation, plus a current
OpenSSL DLL
required by NTP to support authentication.
Unattended installation is also supported. Please see the
NTP Installer Readme
for help on how to use the installer.
Since v4.2.4p8 has been released on December 8, 2009, this version has been called "lennon"
in memoriam of John Lennon who has been shot on December 8, 1980.
IMPORTANT NOTES:
- NTP 4.2.4p8 fixes
a critical security problem.
If you are running an older version please update as soon as possible.
- This version of the installer supports PATH variables up to 8k in size, please note that older versions only support a maximum of 1024 bytes
for the contents of the PATH variable and will most probably overwrite the variable if it is longer. This will cause problems with your
Windows installation and should be avoided.

NTP v4.2.4, NTP v4 stable release, ready-to-install NTP port for
Microsoft Windows NT, 2000, Windows XP, Windows 2003/2008 Server, Windows Vista and Windows 7

This stable version is based on the ntp-stable release (4.2.4) of ntp.org
and runs on both 32 bit and 64 bit versions of the listed operating systems.

Linux driver for Meinberg plug-in radio clocks
|
|
|
A Linux driver for Meinberg PC plug-in cards is available on our
driver download page.
That driver is only required for plug-in radio clocks. Radio clocks
which are connected via a serial interface are directly supported by
NTP.
