The developers at Meinberg Radio Clocks constantly work on optimizing and developing solutions, to be able to satisfy various individual customer requirements and to always be one step ahead of constantly developing technology.
Therefore Meinberg Radio Clocks is proud to announce that the only existing DCF77 computer clock - with PZF function for PCI Express slots - is now available.
The PZF180PEX is 100 times more accurate than its predecessor the PEX511, it achieves an accuracy of maximum 50 microseconds. How come.... As the name of the PZF180PEX indicates, it includes a PZF receiver which evaluates the pseudo random noise sequence (PZF) that is in addition to the amplitude modulation, a part of the DCF77 signal.
Compared to the PEX511 the PZF180PEX provides many new features:
- The IRIG time code outputs enable an accurate synchronization of other computers, even if there is no network connection in-between
- Two independent capture inputs can add hardware time stamping of external events to your measurement application
- Three programmable pulse outputs for pulse per second (TTL, RS232 level), pulse per minute (TTL) and DCF77 compatible pulses (TTL level)
- Upgrade oscillator options: OCXO-LQ, -MQ or -HQ (instead of TCXO) for extended Holdover capabilities
The PZF180PEX is a low profile slot card and therefore able to provide greater flexibility in desktop and server environments. Of course the PZF180PEX is being supported by the current version of Meinberg's driver kits for Windows, Linux and other operating systems.
Meinberg's PZF180PEX will replace the PEX511, which is still going to be available until the 30th of April 2012.
