Besides the large number of reference source inputs the M600/MRS offers the impressive collection of signal outputs that is typical for the M600 series: PPS, PPM, 10MHz, IRIG AM/DCLS, two RS232 interfaces for serial time strings and a frequency synthesizer can be used to provide synchronization to devices that are not NTP-capable.
But the main task of this appliance is synchronizing network clients via NTP or SNTP. For this the system offers four independently configurable network interfaces.
Of course all other LANTIME platform features are part of the package:
- Several different configuration interfaces and protocols like SSH, HTTPS, TELNET, FTP plus professional monitoring capabilities based on SNMP
- A flexible notification system, sending warnings and alerts as SNMP traps, emails and even to wall mount displays
