Product Announcement: New Entry Level GPS/DCF77 NTP Time Server LANTIME M200
Meinberg announces two new members of the LANTIME family of NTP time server appliances. The new LANTIME M200/GPS and LANTIME M200/PZF will be available starting from August 2008. The new models are described as Entry Level models and can be used to synchronize small and medium sized networks with their built-in GPS- or DCF77 reference clock.
The LANTIME M200 models come with a compact desktop housing and a smaller CPU and therefore offer a lower performance when compared to their "big brothers" (i.e. M300/M600/M900).
The LANTIME M200 has one 10/100MBit network interface and is available exclusively with a TCXO Oscillator. Beside the standard wide range (85-264VAC 50/60Hz) power supply it alternatively can be ordered with a DC power supply.
The device has no time and frequency outputs and therefore its only purpose is to provide synchronization to network clients using SNTP or NTP.
