ISPCS 2016 - IEEE 1588 Plugfest and Symposium on Precise Clock Synchronization

The ISPCS traditionally consist of two parts, the Plugfest and the Symposium Program. The Plugfest allows manufacturers of both PTP Hard- and Software, and Measurement devices to perform interoperability testing in a highly dynamic and demanding environment. In addition to real world products, also prototypes and work in progress designs will be tested to facilitate and guarantee the usability of PTP products from different vendors. This effectively reduces the risk of interoperability problems for end users. The Symposium which will be held from September 7 to September 9, 2016, offers an impressive program that includes a large variety of topics from presentations of scientific studies to reports covering the practical use of PTP and other Synchronization Technologies in real-world applications. The aim of the symposium is to provide a forum in which researchers and practitioners from industry, academia, and government involved in precise clock synchronization using IEEE 1588 or similar techniques and protocols can exchange ideas.
