New Meinberg Device Manager for Windows and LINUX

Starting from June 1st 2017, mbgdevman is replacing Meinberg's configuration and management software GPSMON32.

Bad Pyrmont, 08. June, 2017 - Meinberg, manufacturer of the world's most efficient time and frequency synchronization solutions, announces the replacement of its configuration and management tool GPSMON32 by mbgdevman, a new utility that offers many new features. Apart from the configuration of Meinberg's USB- and RS232-enabled clocks as well as the SyncBox N2X and other network-connected systems, the software may also be used to monitor the synchronization status and output signals (e.g. check of an outgoing time string), or to restart a supported device from a remote computer.

The Meinberg Device Manager driver software package can be used under Windows 7 and all newer versions and is able to communicate with all standalone devices manufactured by Meinberg, which are equipped with a serial or USB interface or a network adapter. In addition to that, input and output modules in an MDU (Modular Distribution Unit) chassis can be configured via the management interface of the MDU. More information can be found on the mbgdevman utility web page.

Although no further updates will be provided for the current GPSMON32 Version, it will still be available for operating systems which are not be supported by mbgdevman.
