YVTO is a time signal transmitter used in Caracas, Venezuela at 10° 30'N 66° 56'W. It continuously sends with a frequency of 5 MHz.
Technical Specifications: Second pulses of a 1 kHz modulation with a duration of 0.1 s. A minute is identified by a 0.5 s long and 800 Hz high tone.
The 30th second is omitted. Between seconds 40 and 50 of each minute, a station identification is done through a voice annoucement. Between seconds 52 and 57 of each minute, voice announcements of hour, minute and second are send.
